Monroe County Florida Property Appraiser in Full Production with AP5

The Monroe County Florida Property Appraisers Office went into full production with Patriot’s AP5 in December of 2016. The MCPA produced their full 2017 Tax Roll and all Florida DOR reports and extracts and roll processes completely in AP5. This project involved converting 10 years of data from “NovaLIS” the County’s legacy CAMA application. The data conversion included multiple passes of both Real Estate and Tangible Personal Property data, merging all of it into a single database. On-site data validation review and training accompanied each pass.

This project also included numerous interfaces used for various complimentary functions including street level and oblique imagery, permitting, desktop review, fully integrated GIS application, conversion of current portfolio of sketches from “EZ Sketch” to Patriot’s “SketchPro” format and an export function to the Grant Street TaxSys applications used by the County.

The Monroe County Property Appraisers Office manages approximately 91,000 real estate parcels and 19,000 tangible personal property accounts from their main office in Key West Florida and satellite offices in Marathon (Middle Keys) and Tavernier (Upper Keys) Florida.
