  • Patriot Properties, Inc. Signs Software Installation and Implementation Contract with Spartanburg County South Carolina

    Patriot Properties is pleased to annouce the signing of an installation and implementation contract with Spartanburg County, South Carolina to provide AssessPro, the most versatile and powerful Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) software available in the assessment industry. The Spartanburg County Assessors Office is the fifth South Carolina County to contract with Patriot Properties for software applications, implementation and ongoing consulting. Patriot will be modifying and integrating AssessPro into the Assessors Office as well as converting all of the data currently residing on the County's legacy assessment system. Patriot will work closely with the assessment staff during the implementation of AssessPro and will also include a tablet application for field devices as well. The initial phase of the project is expected to be completed by March of 2006 with Patriot providing ongoing consulting and support after the initial phase is complete. Spartanburg County is located in northwestern South Carolina and contains approximately 150,000 parcels of real property. Patriot Properties is celebrating its 20th anniversary of incorporation in 2005 and is proud to be working with the Spartanburg County Assessment staff on this project.

  • Patriot Properties, Inc. Receives CAMA Contract Award From Bartow County Georgia

    Patriot Properties has been awarded a contract to provide AssessPro, its’ industry leading Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) application to Bartow County, Georgia. The project, which will commence immediately, includes an electronic conversion of all existing property data to the AssessPro CAMA application as well as a full, real time interface with the County GIS applications. When complete, the Bartow County staff will be able to create new parcels in their GIS applications and the assessment staff will receive the newly created parcels in an automated fashion within AssessPro. The AssessPro application will also be customized to meet the specific needs of the Bartow County appraisal staff.

    Bartow County represents the first Georgia County to contract with Patriot Properties for the AssessPro CAMA application. Patriot will be providing all statutorily required reports for Georgia counties as part of the project finalization.

    Bartow County contains 35,000 parcels of real property and is located approximately 30 miles northwest of Atlanta with offices in Cartersville, Georgia. Patriot Properties, Inc. is located 7 miles north of Boston in Lynn, Massachusetts and has been providing property tax software applications to governmental agencies for over 20 years.

  • Georgetown County, SC Project

    Patriot Properties has successfully created the data extract of the sales ratio studies for the South Carolina Department of Revenue, and approximately 60,000 tax bills were sent out in October in Georgetown County. The Assessor's Office is currently in the midst of their 2006 reassessment, and soon will be submitting their new property ratio system report to the SCDOR.

  • Lancaster County, SC Project
  • All of Lancaster County, approximately 40,000 parcels have been converted to AssessPro. One of the main reasons Lancester chose us over our competitors is because AssessPro can handle all of the complex new laws in regards to assessment caps that are pending in the state. Another major factor is their ability to work in multiple databases simultaneously. This project is being conducted as a joint venture with our business partner, Lyles Data Systems of Florence, South Carolina. The Assessor's office has already begun establishing new valuation tables for the upcoming reassessment in 2006.

  • Patriot Properties, Inc. Signs Contract with Clarendon County, S.C.
  • Patriot Properties, Inc. is pleased to announce that they have signed a contract with Clarendon County, South Carolina to provide AssessPro, its Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) software application. The new system will include all of the basic AssessPro functionality and a tablet interface for handheld field devices. The contract also includes data migration from the legacy system previously in use to AssessPro as well as customization, installation and training for the Clarendon County staff. Patriot will be assisted on the conversion and implementation of the project by its business partner Lyles Data Systems of Florence, South Carolina. The project will commence immediately with a completion date of March 1, 2006. Clarendon County is planning on adding Patriot's WebPro and GIS Viewer applications to the project in July of 2006. The Clarendon County signing represents the fourth South Carolina County to contract with Patriot for CAMA software. Clarendon County contains approximately 27,000 parcels of real estate including mobile homes and is located in the eastern part of South Carolina. Wayne Peterson will be the project manager for Patriot and Darci Shelley will be heading up the project for Lyles Data Systems.

  • Patriot Properties Signs Software Installation and Consulting Contract with the Lee County Florida Property Appraisers Office
  • Patriot Properties has signed an installation and consulting contract with the Lee County Property Appraisers office to provide SketchPro, the most versatile and powerful sketching application available in the industry, for use with the County's current software products. The Lee County Property Appraisers Office is the sixth Florida County to contract with Patriot Properties for software applications, implementation and ongoing consulting. Patriot will be modifying and integrating SketchPro into the Property Appraiser's SQL database as well as converting the Property Appraiser's coordinate based sketches into SketchPro's native format for use with the application. Patriot will work closely with the Property Appraiser's technical staff during the integration of SketchPro with the existing CAMA databases and applications. The initial phase of the project is expected to be completed in four months with Patriot providing ongoing consulting and support after the initial phase is complete. Lee County is located on the west coast of Florida and contains approximately 425,000 parcels. Patriot Properties is celebrating its 20th anniversary of incorporation in 2005 and is thrilled to be working with the Lee County Property Appraiser and staff on this project.

    Vermont Update

    Patriot Properties has expanded to 15 clients installed on AssessPro in the state of Vermont. The growing list includes the large cities of Burlington and Rutland and small towns like Proctor and Troy.

    In 2002, Patriot entered into a business partnership with New England Municipal Consultants, Ltd. to market software and reappraisal services in Vermont. NEMC has brought 13 clients to AssessPro, our CAMA software solution, with more in the planning stages. This successful partnership has resulted in Vermont becoming one of our largest states in terms of number of installations. The current Vermont clients include the following municipalities:
